Workers’ Text Messages Are Private
The boss can't riffle through employees' text messages or e-mails on company accounts without running afoul of federal privacy protections, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled, which may make it tougher to investigate sexual harassment, race discrimination or trade secrets theft.
