‘West Memphis Three’ member warns against a politicized justice system

Damien Echols, who was released from prison after serving 18 years for his purported role in the murder of three 8-year-old boys, recently spoke to The National Law Journal about his life outside of prison and his quest for exoneration. Echols says the justice system is "corrupt to the core," and that justice "will always take a back seat" to politics.
