U.S. Ordered to Release E-Mails on Returning Alien Policy
Granting FOIA relief to a coalition of immigration lawyers, a federal judge has ordered the U.S. government to release parts of an email chain to back up its claim that it has a policy on returning to the U.S. immigrants who have been removed from the country but have had the removal decision reversed on appeal.
