Largely avoiding the pitfalls encountered by many large law firms amid the economic downturn, Shook, Hardy & Bacon has continued a slow, steady climb over the past few years. In 2011, its gross revenue inched up 1.3 percent while revenue per lawyer and profits per equity partner both rose by under 6 percent.
