Tampering Charge Dismissed Against Juror Nullification Advocate
A New York federal judge has dismissed an indictment against a self-described libertarian who leaflets possible jurors outside courthouses. Prosecutors argued that Julian Heicklen was a "threat to the judicial system" because he urged jurors to lie to judges and interpret judges' charges as qualified by the phrase "do whatever you want."
