Qualcomm Agrees to Political Spending Disclosures in Wake of N.Y. Comptroller Suit

In a case that could've become a legal turning point for efforts to shine the light of day on corporate political spending, Qualcomm and New York Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli have announced that they've resolved a pension fund's shareholder suit against the chip maker, after Qualcomm agreed to revamp its disclosure policies and publicly catalogue its political contributions.
