Privacy Advocates Target Facebook
A coalition of privacy advocates -- the Electronic Privacy Information Center and nine other groups -- has filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, urging it to investigate Facebook's revised privacy settings. The nation's largest social networking site, which has more than 100 million users in the United States, has changed its privacy policy and settings to expand the amount of user information that is publicly available. The coalition says Facebook's policies are unfair and deceptive.
