Letter to the Editor: Free Software Means ‘Freedom’
The founder of the free software movement, Richard Stallman, takes issue with William Venema's characterization of free software in his article on open source, "Open Source Is Far From Free." Free software, according to Stallman, "refers to freedom, not price." Venema responds.
