King & Spalding Opens Austin Office

May 4, 2008

King & Spalding, which has a 103-lawyer office in Houston, opened an office in Austin last week. Robert Meadow, managing partner of those two offices, says an Austin location helps the 814-lawyer firm meet its strategic goal of expanding its global energy practice. The firm's focus in Austin will be on commercial litigation, IP and regulatory practices that support the needs of energy-industry clients, Meadow says. The Austin office is the 12th for the firm.
