International Posts: Shearman & Sterling’s Andrew Janszky in Sao Paulo
Andrew Janszky joined Shearman & Sterling fresh out of Fordham Law School in 1976, and he's been with the firm ever since. The bankruptcy, capital markets and M&A attorney was born and raised in Brazil, but spent nearly two decades practicing in New York. A growing stream of work from South America convinced Shearman to open a Sao Paulo outpost in 2004, so Janszky moved his family and his practice back to his childhood home. What was his biggest adjustment to life in Brazil? "It's complicated."
