Cooley Fends Off Class Cert Bid by Facebook Advertisers, with a Little Help from Dukes

The Supreme Court's Wal-Mart v. Dukes ruling proved friendly to Facebook last week, when a federal judge refused to certify a class of advertisers that accuse Facebook of systematically overcharging them. The judge ruled that the advertisers hadn't met Wal-Mart's heightened standards for class commonality.
