Banks Fight Class Claims, Take On Bernstein Liebhard in Ohio MERS Case
The Mortgage Electronic Registry System and a group of 28 banks and mortgage companies are moving to block certification of a class action, arguing that an Ohio prosecutor doesn't have standing to represent his counterparts in other counties, especially since he chose to enlist private lawyers.
